The AAU season is officially behind us. That said, it is time to roll out our new class rankings here at The Hoop Vibe.
The updated 2027 class rankings have been bumped up to 250 total prospects from 200. Here is the analysis of the final Top 10 list and click the link to view the rankings below.
2027 Hoop Vibe Florida Rankings
No. 1 – Beckham Black
Beckham Black is the best player in Florida. The 6-foot-3 Southeastern Prep point guard is a five-star, ranked as high as the No. 3 overall prospect nationally in the 2027 class, running an offense with elite feel while averaging over 20.0 PPG and 6.0 APG on the EYBL circuit. Offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, Duke, North Carolina, USC and Georgetown back up what the tape already shows. With the bloodlines to match, the younger brother of Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black, Beckham isn’t just Florida’s top prospect; he’s a top-10 talent nationally with a ceiling still rising.
No. 2 – Cayden Daughtry
Cayden Daughtry is the No. 2 player in the state of Florida, and after this summer, the gap to No. 1 is close. The Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian 6-foot guard led the Florida Rebels to the Peach Jam title, averaging 32.3 PPG, 6.1 APG, 4.9 RPG and 2.9 SPG over the tournament while shooting 60 percent from the field. It was a run so dominant that Nike created a brand-new MVP award just for him. A five-star ranked 11th nationally in the 2027 class, he’s drawing Trae Young comparisons from NBA scouts for his speed, shot-making and size, with Miami, Iowa, Florida State and Michigan all in hot pursuit. He is a lethal scorer.
No. 3 – CJ Rosser
CJ Rosser is the No. 3 player in the state of Florida, and he is quite the talent. The 6-foot-10 Southeastern Prep forward transferred from North Carolina Northern Nash last season and immediately established himself as a national force, with a rare blend of size, shooting touch and face-up skill that has scouts already projecting him as a program-changer at the next level. He backed it up on the AAU trail with Team United, and his recruitment reflects it with 20-plus Division I offers, with Kentucky, Louisville, Duke, Arkansas, Florida State and Georgia Tech all heavily involved. He is a true upside long bodied athlete.
No. 4 – Malachi Jordan
Malachi Jordan is the No. 4 prospect in the state of Florida and his arrival at Prolific Prep instantly makes the Fort Lauderdale program even more dangerous. The 6-foot-6 forward transferred in for his senior season, bringing a rare blend of size, length and scoring versatility that’s earned him five-star status and a spot among the top 15 players nationally in the 2027 class. His recruitment includes offers from Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, UConn, Ohio State, Auburn and Miami. Now playing his home games in Florida, Jordan gives the state’s already-loaded 2027 class another true option to make an immediate impact down south.
No. 5 – Lewis Uvwo
Coming in at No. 5, Lewis Uvwo has made a massive surge in the 2027 rankings in the state of Florida, and he’s arguably the most feared defender in this senior class. The Prolific Prep 6-foot-10 center went from playing sparingly to becoming a national name overnight, capped by an EYBL Peach Jam performance where he nearly notched a triple-double with 10 points, 10 blocks and 9 rebounds against Team Herro. He earned the first-ever 17U EYBL Defensive Player of the Year award after averaging over 5.0 blocks a game, with some calling him the best rim protector in the country and drawing Anthony Davis comparisons for his defensive instincts. Now a five-star ranked as high as No. 6 overall nationally, Uvwo holds offers from North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Arkansas, Michigan, Miami and more. He is going to be a well-sought-out prospect this fall.
No. 6 – Nasir Anderson
Nasir Anderson comes in at No. 6 in the state of Florida, and he’s the engine of one of the most talent-loaded rosters in the country. The 6-foot-4 guard transferred to Prolific Prep last season and became a stabilizing force for a team full of five-stars, playing with a downhill, bully-ball style that helps him get to the rim as effectively as any guard in his class. A five-star with 29-plus Division I offers, Anderson’s recruitment is packed with impressive college squads including Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, North Carolina, Michigan State, Syracuse and UCLA. Some compare him to Jalen Brunson and Anthony Edwards for his blend of power, finesse and alpha presence. Anderson now projects as a plug-and-play high-major point guard with legitimate pro upside down the road.
No. 7 – Jordan Page
Jordan Page arrives in Florida from North Carolina Broughton and he comes in at No. 7. The 6-foot-5 guard is joining IMG for the his senior campaign, arriving as a five-star ranked as high as No. 11 nationally and No. 1 shooting guard in the class of 2027. His versatility stood out on Team USA’s U17 World Cup roster, where he was able to guard three or four positions, rebound at a high level, and move the ball as an opportunistic scorer rather than a ball-hog. Page’s recruitment reflects his standing with the likes North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Florida State and more tracking his progress. He is an instant impact scorer for his new squad in Bradenton.
No. 8 – O’Neal Delancy
O’Neal Delancy is the No. 8 prospect in this class and he’s already proven he can win at the highest level of hoops. The 6-foot-3 Montverde guard shared a backcourt with Peach Jam MVP Cayden Daughtry on the Florida Rebels and helped bring home the championship for his 17U squad, averaging 16.5 PPG, 3.6 RPG and 3.0 APG a game on the circuit. A four-star ranked among the top 50 nationally in the 2027 class, Delancy is an instinctive three-level scorer who’s been expanding his game as a playmaker, and his decision to commit to Kelvin Sampson and Houston over programs like Florida, Florida State, Ohio State and Maryland gives the Cougars their first building block of the 2027 class. Delancy is a battle-tested winner who will have a rock-solid senior season and settle into college next season rather quickly.
No. 9 – Aaron Britt Jr.
Aaron Britt Jr. is the No. 9 prospect here in Florida and he’s built his game on toughness, scoring instincts, and reading the floor a step ahead of everyone else. The 6-foot Villages point guard out of The Villages Charter plays with a mature approach and he’s backed up that IQ with results, leading Tre Mann Elite to a Puma Pro 16 Championship and MVP honors on the circuit this summer. A high-end four-star with nearly 30 offers, Britt Jr. is a shifty, confident shot-maker capable of scoring on or off the ball, drawing recent offers from Michigan State, Marquette and Butler. After leading The Villages to a state runner-up finish, he is entering his senior season on a mission to bring home a title for his program.
No. 10 – Josh Leonard
Josh Leonard is the No. 10 prospect on the Hoop Vibe list, and he brings serious explosiveness to this 2027 class in Florida. The 6-foot-7 guard transferred from South Carolina Florence to IMG for his senior season, arriving as a former South Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year and a unanimous top-40 national prospect known for his above-the-rim finishing and attacking prowess. On the Adidas 3SSB circuit with Upward Stars, Leonard averaged 19.8 PPG, 8.3 RPG and 2.3 SPG per game while shooting an efficient 63.7 percent from the field, showcasing a game built on explosive drives, catch-and-finish scoring, and the ability to put the ball on the deck at his size. His recruitment includes South Carolina, Michigan, Tennessee, Clemson, NC State and more. He will be a true standout night in and night out for a new look IMG squad.
