Top Rising Guards This Spring

The AAU season is in full swing and there have been some big time performances from prospects of all ages.

Here is a look at some top rising guards this spring by the Hoop Vibe.

2028 6-5 G Dre Taylor | SCE UA Rise

Dre Taylor is on the come up and you saw glimpses of it this past year. The 2028 6-foot-5 SCE UA Rise guard has the kind of athleticism that stops a gym cold with his endless bounce, true explosion, and the ability to throw it down with authority every time he gets downhill. Taylor is the rare kid who doesn’t just play above the rim; he lives there. So far this AAU season, he’s been a steady energy guy out in transition, accelerating through gaps, and finishing at the rack with tenacity. What makes this spring significant is that Taylor is rounding into form at exactly the right time and his upside is evident. If he keeps putting in the work, he will be a very coveted prospect very soon.

2028 guard Dre Taylor is one of the biggest breakout athletes here over the last month. A full breakdown of the top rising guards so far this spring.
