RIVIERA BEACH, FLORIDA – 2024 Suncoast forward Ian Smikle is called the ‘Big Wiggle’ for many reasons.
Highly talented announcer Nate Jackson handed out the nickname to Smikle at the 5th annual Sun Bash Tampa Bay in Dec. 2021 and it stuck.
It certainly makes sense since he has smooth footwork for a big bodied forward. Smikle has embraced it and the Suncoast program truly loved it.
