Standouts: EYBL Session I (Day 2)

EMERSON, GEORGIA – I made the stop over to the Nike EYBL Session I at the LakePoint Sports Complex last Saturday.

In a packed gym, there was a lot of talent and college coaches in attendance for the opening event for the Nike EYBL.

Here is a look at my top performers from the Saturday session.

2025 6-9 F Cameron Boozer – Nightrydas Elite

There wasn’t a more dominant performer I saw then Cameron Boozer (Columbus). The 2025 6-foot-9 forward dropped 40 points and 17 rebounds in a win over NJ Scholars Elite. Most impressively, he only missed only two shots. Averaging 27.8 PPG and 13.2 APG on the weekend, Boozer made his buckets count and he routinely got into the paint to slash through defenses. He has a complete game and is a brutal task for opposing teams.

—2025 6-foot-6 guard Cayden Boozer (Columbus) ran the Nightrydas Elite offense with ease. Boozer had 10 points, 10 assists and six rebounds in the victory over NJ Scholars Elite. He passed with purpose, got downhill and made everyone him better.

2024 6-8 F Malik Abdullahi – Nightrydas Elite

Coming off a state title, Malik Abdullahi (Columbus) looks to have really put in the work since early March. The 2024 6-foot-8 forward has been reliable down low with his leaping ability on dunks and lays. His jumper was working and looked to be improved. If Abdullahi can continue to develop his outside shot, his stock will only rise more. He’s super athletic and plays the game endlessly fast.

2025 6-3 G Jeremiah Fears – Bradley Beal Elite

One of the most clutch performances came from 2025 6-foot-3 guard Jeremiah Fears (Joilet West). He put his Bradley Beal Elite team on his back down the stretch which featured a game-winning drive and lay-in with just over four seconds left in regulation. Fears has advanced handles, plays with a ton of speed and confidence. He’s a composed guard who shined playing a grade up.

2024 6-6 G Karter Knox – Florida Rebels

It was a back and forth tilt between Florida Rebels and Bradley Beal Elite in the 17U division. Although the Rebels lost, there was plenty to be proud of.

2024 6-foot-6 guard Karter Knox (Tampa Catholic) averaged just north of 21.0 PPG on the weekend. The Kentucky staff was on hand for the Bradley Beal Elite game along with a whole courtside full of Division I coaches. Knox totaled 21 points on a solid 7-of-10 shooting in that matchup. He was getting to good spots from the mid-range and played endlessly hard. Knox certainly proved his stock.

2025 6-7 F Shareef Jackson – NJ Scholars Elite

Against a 4-0 squad in Nightrydas Elite, Shareef Jackson (Roman Catholic) battled all game long. The 2025 6-foot-7 forward totaled 20 points on an efficient 9-of-11 shooting from the field. He has a knack for powering by defenders and even hit a few triples off quick corner feeds. For the NJ Scholars 16U group, Jackson plays smart and simply works hard. He has a bright future.

2026 6-6 F Zay Mosley – Florida Rebels

In a Saturday night win over the Oakland Soldiers, the Florida Rebels 15U group displayed a ton of raw talent.

Starting with 2026 6-foot-6 forward Zay Mosley (Jordan Christian Prep), who led his side with just under 15.0 PPG on the weekend. He battled through an ankle injury in the victory and showed a lot of promise around the rim as a finisher and core rebounder. He’s a big body who uses his strength very well.

Other Notable Performers:

2026 6-foot-4 guard Felipe Quinones (IMG) – He has a very good handle, a nice mix of speed and pure burst to finish as an attacker. Quinones is a smooth operator.

2026 6-8 forward Chris Washington Jr. (The Villages) – He played with a lot of passion and displayed an upgraded jumper. His upside is endless with his length and athleticism.

2026 6-foot-4 guard Brandon Bass Jr. (Windermere Prep)– He has one of the smoothest jumpers and his outside shot was working well. He’s playing super confidently.
