Here are the top standouts from the day:
2024 6-8 F Vuk Lazarevic – Admiral Farragut
Vuk Lazarevic is starting to really settle in this fall and on Saturday he rewarded his team with 29 points in a win over Palm Harbor. 19 of his points came in the opening half as he connected from the mid-range at a high clip and went inside for finishes.
—2025 6-1 guard Talon Brooks (22 points) hit five 3’s which included three in the second half to put the game on ice. He’s a crafty scoring guard. 2024 5-11 guard Kaleb Oriol (14 points) shined in transition, coming up with a handful of steals and finishes on the other end.
2023 6-0 G Aaron Barton – Southeast
The top-scoring player in the fall league, Aaron Barton opened even more eyes with a daily high of 32 points in a victory over Largo. He had 23 points at the break and it seemed like he simply couldn’t miss. Barton is the senior leader of this group and really sets everything up for his team. College coaches need to be calling him right now before it’s too late.
—2023 6-1 guard Joey Winter (12 points) will be leaned upon for his shooting prowess and he had some bright moments in the win.
2024 6-0 G Daniel MacGregor – Calvary Christian
Daniel MacGregor scored all but 10 points for Calvary Christian in a late comeback, 37-36 win over Santa Fe Catholic. MacGregor scored four of his 27 points in the last 35 seconds alone with consecutive steals to shock the Lakeland squad. It was a fury of buckets and quite impressive from one of the top junior guards in the state.
2023 6-1 G Jeremy Perlin – Palm Harbor
In its debut in the fall league, Palm Harbor fought all game long against Admiral Farragut. It was Jeremy Perlin who shined the brightest with a team-high 18 points. He’s a pesky defender and a very gifted finisher. Perlin brings a lot of leadership to this team.
—2023 5-11 G Daniel Madmon (10 points) and 2024 5-11 G Jaiden Bennett (10 points) both flashed floor stretching shooting touch.
2025 5-10 G Jacob Daniels – Gibbs
Speed and effort are both never issues for Gibbs. 2025 pair: 5-10 guard Jacob Daniels (14 points) and 6-1 guard Mathis Roberts (11 points) continue to score in a variety of ways for its squad. Daniels is a shifty lead guard who shoots well from deep and has smart takes to the rack. Roberts is a strong-minded guard who is a tough task for opposing defenses.
2024 6-3 F Hudson Dykhuizen – Santa Fe Catholic
In his debut with Santa Fe Catholic, Hudson Dykhuizen was a difference-maker from the opening whistle against Calvary Christian. He was finishing inside with strength and he shot the ball with confidence. Dykhuizen had a team-best 19 points and certainly will open the floor up for the other shooters on this team.
—2025 6-0 guard Tate Darner (12 points) is maturing every week whether he’s scoring or not. He’s always vocal and hustling on defense to force turnovers.
2024 6-0 G Jaden Baker – Bradenton Christian
One of the top grinders in his class, Jaden Baker doesn’t shy away from anyone. He gets the free throw line consistently and on Saturday, he led his side with 12 points in a scrappy win over Countryside.
—2024 6-3 F Syrus Pentecoast (12 points) had a productive second half with 10 points, all inside finishes and 2024 5-10 Brody Walker (11 points) looked the part as a shooter.
2023 6-3 G Kobie White – Countryside
That marks back-to-back weeks for Kobie White with exactly 15 points. Most impressively, he dropped all of them on Saturday in the second half, which included a trio of 3’s against Southeast. White continues to be productive for a revamped Countryside team.
—2023 5-10 guard Jasper Canada (10 points) hit some key jumpers while 2024 6-1 guard/forward Tyler Becker (10 points) flashed his slashing ability.
2023 6-1 G DJ Corbitt – Clearwater
More players are emerging weekly for Clearwater. This Saturday, it was DJ Corbitt, an instinctive senior ballhandler and attacker. He netted 10 of his 17 points in the second half to keep his side afloat. With a few more consistent outings like that and Corbitt could really prove himself.
2023 6-0 G Jaden Arzola – Gateway Charter
The four games that Gateway Charter played in the fall league were decided by a total of seven points. The Southwest Florida group plays endlessly hard. In the 52-49 overtime win over St. Pete, it was Jaden Arzola who hit a clutch free throw to put his team ahead for good. He had nine points and is a very talented pacesetter overall.
—2023 6-4 guard Jahmari Johnson (12 points) has shined all fall as a tough cover inside and a keen-eye shooter. 2025 6-7 forward Patrick Johnson (7 points) makes this post because of how talented he is on defense as a shot blocker and rebounder.
2026 5-8 G Emir Gainer – St. Pete
St. Pete is upperclassmen-heavy, but it was a freshman who led the charge on Saturday. 2026 guard Emir Gainer has shown glimpses of very good play in the fall league and he had his best performance with 13 points. Gainer is a quick twitch guard who has a nice jumper.
—2023 6-3 guard Sam Duckworth (11 points) used a strong first half offensively to put his team ahead and he continued his tough-nosed defensive play.
2025 6-4 F Gavin Ellis – Largo
Using his length to his advantage, Gavin Ellis was making things happen for Largo in a loss to Southeast. He gets a good arc on his jumper and he was all over the boards in this game.
—2023 5-11 guard Adrian Moss (13 points) and 2023 6-2 guard Preston Church (11 points) each are consistent threats offensively every game.
