Game 2: Admiral Farragut 50, Clearwater 44

Game 4: Largo 50, North Tampa Christian 46

Game 5: Gibbs 59, Santa Fe Catholic 41

Game 6: Calvary Christian 80, Southeast 52

Here are the top standouts from the day:

2023 6-1 G Henry Hurst Jr. – East Lake

This was the best offensive performance over the last month from 2023 guard Henry Hurst Jr. The downhill guard was hitting shots early and often, adding 13 of his team-best 17 points in the opening half. When Hurst Jr. is locked in, he is certainly a challenging cover defensively.

—2023 6-0 G Justin Kruszewski picked up his pace in the second half as he contributed nine of his 15 points to keep his side in front. He draws so much attention from defenses all game long with his stretch shooting ability.

2024 6-6 G Ace Taylor – Calvary Christian

A spark was lit under 2024 guard Ace Taylor in the big win over Southeast. He dropped 32 points and didn’t slow down one bit after ending the first half with 16 points. Taylor is simply playing impressive basketball as he gets out on the break to finish with dunks and lay-ins often. He led all scorers on the day with nine made free throws.

—Alongside Taylor, Calvary Christian maintains its production from guard pairing, 6-0 Daniel MacGregor (20 points) and 2023 6-0 Dominic Sarigumba (12 points). The duo set things up well with their crafty ballhandling and scoring prowess.

2024 6-0 G Jaden Baker – Bradenton Christian

Health appears to be back on the side of 2024 guard Jaden Baker. He hit some crafty buckets, which is the norm for him. Baker totaled a team-high 20 points in a four-point win over St. Pete. Most impressively, he connected on 6-of-7 free throw attempts. Baker is a lightning bolt and a strong one at that, at the guard position.

2023 5-11 G Adrian Moss – Largo

Confidence is oozing for 2023 guard Adrian Moss. He made life awfully tough for a young North Tampa Christian squad with 20 points for Largo. The attacking and strong guard totaled 13 second half points and continued to be the lead piece for his team. Moss is going to make a college program look very smart by adding his physical presence to its backcourt.

2023 6-3 G/F Nick Pouliot – Countryside

Countryside continues to get tough minutes from Nick Pouliot. The 2023 guard totaled 18 points in a back-and-forth tilt against East Lake in the 10 AM slot. He has a reliable floater and likes to attack the rim and draw contact. Pouliot was at the free throw line often in the second half.

—2023 6-3 G/F Kobie White (13 points) was active from the jump and hit some big shots down the stretch which included a 3-pointer at the buzzer to make it just a 1-point loss. He’s a lengthy athlete who plays hard on both ends of the floor.

2023 6-5 G Tristan Gross – St. Pete

This was the debut week for St. Pete. With 2023 5-10 guard Quez Curry and 2023 6-6 forward Dylan Kramer inactive, 2023 guard Tristan Gross carried the load with 14 points and he was laser focused. Bradenton Christian was active against him defensively, but he still found pockets and worked his way to the rack with some nifty takes. Gross hit all six of his free throw attempts. He is certainly looking the part of a bonafide No. 1 leader heading into his senior campaign.

2024 5-11 G Kaleb Oriol – Admiral Farragut

Admiral Farragut played with pace and purpose in this one as 2024 guard Kaleb Oriol connected on some important jumpers to the tune of 14 points. He’s a talented ballhandler and he got everyone up and running in the win over Clearwater.

—2024 6-8 F Vuk Lazarevic (17 points) had a second consecutive impressive outing. He finished with dunks in transition and was at the free throw stride a ton (five made attempts). The opportunity is there for Lazarevic to break out.

 2025 6-0 G Mathis Roberts – Gibbs

Gibbs looked in regular season form in a convincing 18-point dub over Santa Fe Catholic. 2025 guard Mathis Roberts continues to shine with his attacks inside and his overall physical play on both ends of the floor. He contributed 13 points in the outing.

—2025 5-10 G Jacob Daniels (13 points) sets the tone for the Gibbs offense. He played really well off of Roberts in this matchup.

2026 6-0 G Evan Kramer – North Tampa Christian

For a second straight week, 2026 guard Evan Kramer (14 points) used his mix of shooting and confidence to his advantage. This offense runs through him and he makes basketball fun for North Tampa Christian.

–Fellow 2026 teammate, 6-8 F Toni Bryant (11 points) flashed bright moments once again with his length, activeness and dunking ability.

2026 6-1 G Kris Foote – Clearwater

Clearwater is young right now with most of its key prospects out on the football field. However, there are some future pieces in place. 2026 guard Kris Foote Jr. netted eight points and flashed bright moments with his jumper and length. He is a savvy player who you can see will break out in due time.

—2023 5-10 guard Jasper Canada (12 points) keeps on adding 3’s and jumpers for this Clearwater unit. He is active.
