Top 5 Teams in Standings

  1. East Lake (5-0)
  2. Calvary Christian (4-1)
  3. Bradenton Christian (4-1)
  4. Gibbs (3-2)
  5. Northside Christian (2-0)

Here are the top standouts from the day:

2023 5-11 G Skyler Scull – Northside Christian

In its second appearance in the fall league for Northside Christian, 2023 guard Skyler Scull was superb. Scoring 23 points, he battled through an injury and was getting to the cup with his combination of handles, speed and finishing touch. His jumper was working and his passing IQ is really fun to watch. A college program would be wise to recruit him right now as he makes everyone around him better.

2024 6-0 G Daniel MacGregor – Calvary Christian

Every week, it seems as if Daniel MacGregor just grinds out games. He quietly racked up 28 points for Calvary Christian in a victory over Countryside. His downhill drive to the basket was on and he was drawing contact. His effort is always there and he shined on the boards and as a lockdown defender.

—2024 6-6 guard Ace Taylor is in a groove right now and alongside MacGregor, it is starting to turn into a true pick your poison. Taylor had 21 points and finished inside and with his mid-range shot. His length and craftiness are a problem for defenders.

2023 6-6 F Dylan Kramer – St. Pete

Making his fall league debut, 2023 forward Dylan Kramer hustled his way to 21 points against Class 5A-District 10 rival Southeast. St. Pete beat Southeast by a total of six points a season ago in two matchups (district final and region semifinal). Kramer is a strong forward who grinds for boards, finishes inside and dives for loose balls which sets the tone for his team.

 2023 6-0 G Carmine Thomas – Gibbs

Gibbs is in a groove lately and 2023 guard Carmine Thomas is a consistent scorer. He added a team-high 20 points against Largo as he was shooting at a high clip and simply finding openings in the defense off passes and set shots.

—2025 5-10 G Jacob Daniels (16 points) had a nice outing as well as he continues to score in a variety of ways with lay-ins and mid-range jumpers.

2026 6-1 G Blake Stuba – East Lake

East Lake had a rare opportunity to play its whole roster and a young prospect who shined brightly was Blake Stuba. The 2026 guard netted his team-best 20 points mainly in the second half. His 3-point shot is very fundamental and with more meaningful performances like this, he might earn a major role off the bench during the regular season.

2024 6-2 G Tahj Davis – Southeast

Against St. Pete, Tahj Davis stepped up for his side with 16 points. He was physical on both ends of the floor and just plain good as a driver to the hoop and rebounder. Davis will be a glue piece alongside a nice mix of athletes from Bradenton.

2023 6-3 G Aiden Jones – Santa Fe Catholic

Santa Fe Catholic played super tough and were up and down the floor often against Northside Christian. 2023 guard Aiden Jones (17 points) found success offensively with his jumper and keen lay-in touch.

2026 5-11 G Geridan Jones – Clearwater

This isn’t the first time that Geridan Jones has emerged in the fall for a youthful Clearwater group. The 2026 guard recorded a team-high 17 points in the loss to Bradenton Christian and did everything he could in the second half to keep his team close with one-handed floaters and attacks at the rim.

2024 6-0 G Ty Townsend – Bradenton Christian

In the closing tilt of the day, Ty Townsend proved to be the top piece on both ends of the floor for Bradenton Christian with 12 points. The 2024 guard is vocal, plays hard, and is very fundamental. He is a key piece of this well put together unit.

2025 6-1 G Talon Brooks – Admiral Farragut

A bright spot for Admiral Farragut was 2025 guard Talon Brooks (19 points). He is at his best when he drives to the rack and uses either hand to finish.

2024 6-1 G Colby Kepler – Largo

There have been some bright moments for Colby Kepler this fall. On Saturday, the 2024 guard shot his way to a team-best 13 points in a loss to Gibbs in the 10 AM slot. Kepler has a nice feel from the mid-range and uses his length to hit jumpers.
